Photos: Antiques, Vintage Hearses & Classic Cars!

Yesterday, my friend and I went antiquing at the last Second Sunday of season and picked up a few True Story magazines, a hatchery receipt booklet,
and a Garbage Pail Kid card.

Then, we went to the Spring Grove Cemetery & Arboretum for the Cruise In Car Show to see the vintage hearses and classic cars. I took photos of the cars that struck my fancy, nothing more.

At the end, we picked up the 2008 Special Events & Tour Schedule and picked a few tours we hope to participate in next year, like Mysterious Markers and Their Meanings,” “Unusual Deaths/Untimely Ends” and “Full Moon Night Tour.” My dad asked if I was planning to stop by the grave of our relative who was a brewmaster at Christian Moerlein, I wasn’t, but I bet if we go to the “Beer Barons Tour” we might be able to see it!

Don’t forget to bring me that schedule. This sounds like a very unique cemetery!

I bulit this hearse from the ground up. I used old hearse parts mainly from a 59 Cadillac. The fins are off of a 59. The oprea lights are off of a 59 & a 55. The rollers and bier pin are out of a 59.
