Back in March 2006, I posted about convincing my dad to bank his rainy day rolled coins and open an ING account. In case you are wondering from notmartha’s commenters, Fifth-Third took his rolled coins, but did not unroll them to send them through a machine and count them. Not sure if it was because it was quite an impressive sum or not, but it did take several trips to and from the car to carry in those cookie tins 🙂
