Lunch It Punch It

Reading List: Back to School Packed Lunches

Since school seems to start anywhere from early August to mid-September, I thought it was time to compile some back to school reading for packing lunches. Some people love websites where they can bookmark and pin ideas, while others want a book they can keep in the kitchen.

In the last few years, several books have been written geared toward packing kid lunches, whether it’s paleo or just a balanced meal. Start this back to school season with a few books to make successful packed lunches!

I can’t promise all libraries have these books, but I make an effort to find a few each year since the always circulate well!

Beating the Lunchbox Blues by J. M. Hirsch is my absolute favorite! Such good ideas–and not necessarily all in “recipe” form. You don’t always need or want recipes. I’ve not read all of these, but I look forward to trying to track some down.
