Free yoga and other workout classes in the warmer months of spring, summer and fall are starting to take hold and this is a great thing for those of us looking to be active with friends without spending too much money or an activity centered around food and beer (I’m not opposed, but a break is welcome!).
Please check the websites to make sure the times, fees and class descriptions fit your needs. Although studios offer mat rental, I recommend you invest in your own and keep it clean and ready in your car. You can get a 6-piece yoga set and have all you’ll need to get started.

August 10, 2014 at 1:28 pmI’ve started going to yoga in Washington Park and I really enjoy it. I think there’s something about being outside, especially after a day in the office, that makes it such a good experience. Thanks for putting this list together!
