A crinkle blanket is an easy sewing project that can be made from scrap fabric and the liner from cereal or crackers. Once you turn the blankie right sides out, insert a clean liner and the sew the opening shut. It is that easy.

If you wanted to get fancy, you could make it a taggie + crinkle blankie and sew looped ribbon in the seams.
