Bob Harper: Kettlebell Cardio Shred is part of is Inside Out Method DVDs for home workouts.
I’ve already reviewed Pure Burn Super Strength, Cardio Conditioning, and Bob’s Workout.
Like all his DVDs, this workout combines strength with cardio. If you’re not a fan of kettle bell swings, you’re not going to like this workout because it is the one move that is repeated throughout the whole workout. You’ll work on cleans, shoulder presses, rows, windmills and a few other moves in a variety of sets. High knees and burpees help get your heart rate pumping.
The only times in this 54-minute workout you’ll be on a mat is for push ups, modified Turkish get-ups, abs and stretching.
Like Bob’s other DVDs, he is encouraging, provides form tips and lets you know what you can do to modify the work, but keep plowing through.
This DVD contains only one workout, there is no beginner workout but when I bought my Bob Harper kettlebell at Target, it came with a shorter workout, which you can find on YouTube. The GoFit kettlebells on Amazon are similar.
This DVD helps me work on strength as well as keep me on target burning about 100 calories per 10 minutes. If you’re looking to make the most of your workout minutes, I recommend any of Bob Harper’s DVDs, including his yoga warrior workout.
If you no longer have a DVD player, you can find workouts that are streaming.
