It has been a while since I’ve purchased new workout clothes and it just so happened Dick’s Sporting Goods invited me to check out their Women’s Athletic Apparel department, which I was happy to do figuring I could checkout a variety of clothing!
I love that as I walked in that women’s apparel was visible in the front of the store and there were big photographic banners highlighting the brands and related activity so if I knew I was looking for Nike or soccer specifically I could navigate to those areas.
Did you know Carrie Underwood has a line of yoga clothing? I didn’t, but it looks like pretty stuff that could wear to class and then to run errands without looking like you just got out of class. Or you know clothing you can lounge around in aka wear grocery shopping and pretend you went to yoga class.
All the brands you would expect to find are at Dick’s Sporting Goods: Nike, Under Armor, Adidas, Reebok, Lucy, and a few others. Sprinkled throughout the departments are clearance racks so if you like hunting for a bargain, you can do that.
I attempted to veer from black on black and laid out an outfit that had a little more color in it, for me, even though charcoal is very close to black.
I almost made it out of the store with these two, but then ended up with black on black. I can’t help myself, this way everything matches even my black flips for going to outdoor yoga!
I was excited to see grippy sole socks without the toes, I’ve never tried the mary jane style but I do like these socks for indoor, home pilate workouts on wood floors.
If you’re on the hunt for new workout apparel and or accessories, visit Dick’s Sporting Goods and see if you can find yourself in something brighter than my black on black pick!
Disclosure: Dick’s Sporting Goods gifted me with my new workout outfit, but the thoughts and opinions in this blog post are all mine.
