I had a Groupon to Tom + Chee, but I don’t work downtown so I was anxious to find a weekend to go and with this weather I figure who cares if the grass is a foot tall?!

Yes, friends blowing me up with texts, I said on foursquare I was having the grilled cheese donut and I did (half). Along with the Grippos BBQ bacon grilled cheese and the BLT + Chee. Halvies on all. It’s not like I was asking for a heart attack between two buttery slices of bread, just pure heaven.

When we arrived we let the cashier know it was our first time and she gave us a run down of how things work, sandwiches can be made to order, salads and offered to let us sample the soup. My first sandwich lacked the BBQ chips so I asked if I just didn’t understand my order and learned they made an omission. They grilled up another sandwich in nothing flat.

Now, I understand why a guy I follow on twitter eats here often, the food is great, reasonably priced and the staff is lovely!
