Stress Eating

When I experience stress, it settles in my back where I have a compressed disc, in turn pinched a nerve creating discomfort in my leg and an inability to stretch my hamstring. I’ve been working to stretch more frequently, which is why coworkers find me on the floor of my cube. I try to not create stress as well as avoid it, but sometimes it just happens.

The one thing I’m working to not do: stress eat

Today, I left my workout early because I thought I left an appliance on. I didn’t. It might have been a good thing because as I arrived home, my front license plate fell off in the garage.

I haven’t slept well the last few nights because I’m having Tippy Hedren nightmares – I have birds in the dwelling situation. I hear chirping outside I think they’re calling all their friends over to drive batty. I hope they enjoy it because their eviction has been served. If you need a list of critter getters, let me know, I think I’ve talked to most who service Cincinnati.

I really need gutter guards so I don’t have to clean them each year.

This past weekend, my Dad and I took on a home improvement project that was too big for our collective britches and if you’ve seen them, nevermind… Barely started, I need to hire it out to be finished. Nothing brings out the neighbors like a jackhammer!

I love cutting grass and composting, but my backyard has not been enjoyable for 3.5 years. It is another source of trouble for my basement as the above project.

Calling on contractors drives me crazy, but I’m content to keep calling in order to skip the rude, condescending ones.

I’m trying so hard to not let stress cause me eat my way through every workout. Ideally, I’ll have this stuff take care by June.

I’m not made of money, I’ve been saving to remodel my kitchen since I moved in. My coworker encouraged me to enter a kitchen remodel, but I’m not sure I could afford the taxes if I won!

I’m trying to focus on good stuff: parks, sunshine, trying new workouts, good conversations and laughter, an organized basement, not being a hoarder and leaving good stuff for the pickers.
