“Scans of sandwiches for education and delight.”
Scanwiches is a wonderfully simple blog that features a new sandwich picture and recipe each week. This might not sound exciting, but these sandwiches are beautiful…you haven’t seen a beautiful Peanut Butter, Raspberry Jelly, on Wheat Bread? Or Fresh Turkey, Sprouts, Swiss Cheese, Purple Onions On a Baguette? Then you are missing out!
I tried out my favorite, the Homemade: Italian Sausage, Caramelized Onions, Roasted Red Peppers, On a Baguette. My version was slightly modified, I left off the onion and added jalapenos and some Woeber’s Hot and Spicy Mustard, slightly less beautiful, but just as tasty.
…And keep an eye out for the Scanwiches book which will be released on Nov 3, 2011, which just happens to be National Sandwich Day!

January 11, 2011 at 9:52 amI don’t know how I ever enjoyed a hot dog or sausage before you introduced me to Woeber’s. On this sandwich I used Hot and Spicy, but Horseradish is also really good. I would like to give the other flavors a try too!
