On A Quest for Protein

Now that I’m back in the saddle nearly every morning with indoor cycling, I need a protein option for when I finish.

Luckily, I was introduced to Quest Beyond Cereal Bars, which have 12g of protein, only 110 calories, only 2-3g net carbs, 6-7g fiber and 8g of Allulose, a new naturally occurring sweetener found in figs, raisins & dates.

I stopped by Vitamin Shoppe to make my picks and with three flavors and plenty of mornings, I picked all of them: waffle, chocolate, and cinnamon roll. The Quest Beyond Cereal Bars are made from protein, not grains like traditional cereals. These keep me satisfied until it’s time for more mid-morning snack.

These bars have the crunch of a cereal bar with the incredible nutritional profile you know you can expect from Quest. And Allulose is a sugar/carb when you look at the nutritional panel, but it is not metabolized like regular sugar so it doesn’t calories.

Compare the nutrition facts of these Beyond Cereal Bars against the leading breakfast bar brands and you’ll see that Quest has more protein, far less carbs, and far less sugar with amazing taste.

If you’re on a quest for more protein to start your day, be sure to check out Vitamin Shoppe for Quest Beyond Cereal Bars and learn more about Quest Nutrition.
