Metal band-aid tins are hard to come by, but if you have one you want to utilize as more than decorative, you can paint or add scrapbook paper and a magnet to make a pencil holder for your fridge or memo board area.

March 15, 2007 at 11:09 amI love the scrapbook paper you used. The pencil tin looks really cute. I’m going to look like a copycat because I’ve got a tea tin I’m going to turn into a pencil case with some of that fabric (sheet set) I bought at Target recently.

March 15, 2007 at 9:08 pmemmy, it is paper from provo craft’s super slab that I found at Michaels. I used it to start scrapbooks for my friends, which I should finish this weekend as part of the Crafting Cacophony – thanks for the reminder, kel!
