I love magnets! This apartment has metal doors so I junk them up with magnets because the fridge is in a bad spot so I only use the side, like with this new magnetic pocket file folder I found as part of a 4-pack at Target, clearanced. This one is for stuffing my library checkout receipt so it is always handy.
One of the others is going to work with me to go inside my locker to hold little items that may get lost. Constantly being mobile among shared workspace has gotten the best of me and no matter how much I try to stay organized, I have lost (or hopefully just misplaced) my work flash key. [Tony, Tony turn around…]
The Target I shop is undergoing a renovation so many items get clearanced to make room for the working areas and this week it’s stationery. As I was checking out the magnetic factor on these I struck up a conversation with the American Greetings rep about her job –she likes what she does, the flexibility and frequent trips to Target means she sees the clearance items, too. I love meeting people who love their jobs! I wonder if she’s seen my flash key?!

The more I look at it, I think I can make my own from those real estate or pizza magnets and cardstock.

Ok, so you need to get your library up to speed on what to do in an emergency! Any public place should have an action plan. It's really sad that we live in a time when you have to think about these things…
