One thing I like about Mondays is the release of a new Jillian Michaels’ podcast episode. I listen and then I re-listen and scribble notes. Much of the stuff I’m still learning.
For those who have read her book, Unlimited, you already have an idea of what to expect from her podcasts or her Maximize Your Life* tour. For those who only know Jillian from Biggest Loser or her fitness DVDs, then you may not realize she sees herself along the lines of a life coach. If you need a pep talk, listen to a JM podcast.
I happened to see this quote from her in a magazine interview at a time when I needed to hear it. The collage is a reminder what is makes me, me: planning and smiling. I’m not crazy with the planning, but I do like having my meals and workouts spoken for at the start of the week.
*I am interested in going to the May 7 Indianapolis date because Biggest Loser 14 winner, Danni Allen, will be appearing, but I’m torn. Jillian is anti-soda and you can add unlimited soda to your ticket. I tweeted her about this, but I didn’t get a reply.
I’m sure the answer is something like it is the default offer from the theater and money talks. I guess I expect Jillian to choose companies that promote her brand since she encourages listeners to shun soda, eat organic produce, avoid phthalates and more.
