Gramma and I went out for Mexican to celebrate her 87th birthday where I took this picture that she does not like and quite honestly, does not look like her. She rarely keeps her mouth shut, she’s a talker!
Afterward, we went to the Senior Center where she signed up for the upcoming free lunches sponsored by the various nursing homes in the area. She tells me she’s just there for the free lunch 🙂
Once home, we had hot lava chocolate cakes and vanilla ice cream and discussed dating. For once, it was about which of the ladies are dating, not why I am not married. She let me know she will not be hitting the dating scene because any guy she meets she would compare to Gramps and he would not be able to hold a candle to him (aw!).
Also, she called about a condo around the corner from her. She’s thinking I could could live near her. I love the lady, but I cannot imagine living where she would be able to see my door from her kitchen table!
