I was flipping through Photojojo the book, not the website, and one of the projects was photo cupcakes toppers. Not photos printed on paper and glued back-to-back with a toothpick between. Photo images that go right on top of the frosted cupcake.

Following their suggested website I learned it is a wholesaler/distributor for bakeries to buy edible inks and printers, not a site to upload a photo and days later get sugary images that can be slapped on a cupcake.

Then I saw today’s Deal Pulp – $10 for $24 at Cake Sugar, which makes image cupcake toppers. They will let you you upload your own photo or design (logo) and for $24 gets you 24 images + $6.99 shipping. Expires June 14, 2012, which gives you plenty of time to capture a great photo of me for my December 9th birthday 😉
