I recently came back from a vacation where friends were surprised I didn’t eat out for any of my meals. They couldn’t believe that I packed my lunch every day, and had breakfast and dinner in, too! It helped that I had access to a great grocery store and full kitchen.
When you make yourself sandwiches like this chicken bacon sandwich with tomato, lettuce, and avocado there is no need to dine out.
If you’re a Facebook fan or Twitter follower, you saw this photo which is the result of having to stop for fast food on the drive home. When you stop at a place you’ve never been, it’s hard to know what you’re going to get, but this 490 calorie grilled chicken sandwich was thinner than my iPhone and shorter than a deck of cards. Win some, lose some!
