I’ve been meaning to blog about Cooking with Caitlin and somehow keep putting it off. This past Christmas Eve my mom and I made the I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter! Poached Shrimp that I had at one of the Third Thursday events and couldn’t stop talking about. It was the first time I made it and everyone, including gramma loved it!

If you live in the Cincinnati or Northern Kentucky area and have never been to their Third Thursday, you should treat yourself. A friend took me, I took my mom, then took some more friends who met other friends. Think of it as a cocktail party, not a cooking class or demonstration. According to the website, it is nine courses of creatively crafted in food in petit four proportions. Don’t let the price fool you, for $25 you will probably go home stuffed and the price includes drinks. If you are a foodie, you’ll enjoy knowing many of her recipes are available on her website.

Oh and for the single and ready to mingle types, my friends and I watched as a girl and guy flirted all night and then he asked for her phone number 🙂
