Check It Out: Sewing Books

I already posted that I own Sew What! Skirts, which I have used to make a-line skirts. Normally, I do not buy a sewing book without previewing the library copy because I do not want to be stuck with a book that is over my head or written in a style that does not suit me (not enough photos, illustrations or hard to follow directions). The following are books that I have checked out and will return to this winter when I have sewing time.
