Charlie there’s Nothing to be Sorry About Tuna Salad

I absolutely love a good tuna salad!  I have tried many different tuna salads at many different restaurants.  Today I indulged in the Tuna Salad wrap from Skyline Chili, I have waited a whole year for it to come back around.  I wish they would have this wrap year around.  (Do not laugh, Skyline makes good tuna salad wraps and baked potatoes).  One other tuna salad that I have fond memories of is the tuna salad sandwich I used to eat in college from Brad’s Bagel and Deli.  Too bad it went out of business, but it wasn’t because of their tuna salad.  They added pepper to their tuna salad and I loved the extra taste it gave to salad.  So I have created somewhat of a mix of my favorite tuna salads.  Here is my version:

Tuna Salad

2 cans of chunk light tuna in water

2-3 boiled eggs (diced)

2 stalks of celery (diced)

1/4 c. or to taste onions (diced)

2-3 t. of sweet pickle relish

Miracle Whip Mayonnaise to taste and consistency you like

Pepper to taste

Mix all ingredients together for tuna salad.

To make the tuna salad extra sweet I have added a touch of sugar.

I’m so happy you get to enjoy your tuna wraps for the next six weeks. If they had them year-round, it would be a special 🙂
