BlogHer Carpool – Cincinnati

bloghercarpoolcinti

Less than two weeks until I hit the road with the ladies of Art Slam, Mommybits, AmyinOhio and Playgroups are No Place for Children bound for BlogHer in Chicago! Since I am always looking to live within my means (my college roommate is letting me stay with her!), I was thrilled when Shannanb of MommyBits invited me to the Chevy BlogHer Carpool!

I am planning to make a mixed CD for our trip and have gotten a few song suggestions from my carpooling pals, but I need more! Please leave a comment with suggestions that will make our drive to Chicago fantastic!

We are going to have a blast!

What about the following (no pressure, I promise):
    Losing My Religion- REM
    Sweater – Weezer
I Want You To Want Me – Cheap Trick
    American Boy – Estelle

Thanks Christy & Shannan! I am looking through my library…
Wait, Shannan, are you sure you didn’t want the Joey Potter (katie holmes) version of that song?!

I suggest “Love Letter to Japan” by The Bird and the Bee. It is the first song on my summer mix this year. Catchy and fun!

How fun! I wish I was going! As you drive through the flat cornfields of Indiana, you need some “heartland rock” — The Boss, some Mellencamp… you know…
