Blog Monetization & Affiliate Marketing

The last Saturday of each month the Cincinnati Women Bloggers gather to network and learn. Today, Bridge Worldwide opened their fab office to us so that we could learn about monetizing and affiliate marketing from Andrea (@Mommysnacks) of Mommysnacks. [Andrea provided a guest post here about couponing for small households]

Andrea does not claim to be an expert, but willing to share what she has learned in just over a year of blogging and it is fantastic knowledge! If I had to summarize her overall message, it is what I find true to almost all aspects of blogging: it is not a one size fits all application and stay true to your voice.

If you would like a list of the affiliate marketing companies Andrea has had success with, please visit her blog.

If you are a Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky women who is blogging or thinking of beginning a blog, I encourage you to reserve the last Saturday of the month for the Cincinnati Women Bloggers meeting. You will walk away energized to learn more, do something with your blog and have a network of knowledge to tap into – it’s good stuff!

If you are a local business who would like follow Bridge Worldwide’s lead and host one of our meetings, please contact CincinnatiWomenBloggers @ gmail . com. I know a library with free meeting space, but it is not centrally located and it only has a coffee vending machine (although I am told the coffee and hot chocolate are tasty).

    Andi,
I am so glad you enjoyed the meeting. I got a lot from it. Aside from learning each month, one of the things I most enjoy is getting to talk with others about blogging and technology in general. I’ve met so many great friends that I wouldn’t have if not for CWB!
PS. Thanks for the plug about sponsors!!

You have a wonderful blog with some really good tips. You would benefit greatly from my recent backlink building program (not trying to spam honestly, just think you would truely like it). I am curious about one thing however, do you know of any other blogging groups that actually meet offline? Or do you have a website that would have a list of them? I’d very much LOVE to find one locally to where I am at!
