I was not planning on skipping Oktoberfest Zinzinnati. It was all I was thinking about the end of last week: chicken dance, beer, brats, ah Oktoberfest! But my plans changed Friday night when I saw a sign for a community-wide yard sale for Saturday morning and scored this filing cabinet (which looks like an over-sized card catalog) for $1!
It was pink, which is not my color and it needed to be cleaned, sanded, primed and painted. All of which took the rest of the weekend and why I missed Oktoberfest. Well, that and my sister, niece and nephew made a surprise visit to town so I had to stop and play with them ๐
If there was a better way to do the handles, I would have, but I could not get them off in a way that I would have been able to put them back on. The wheeled dolly was from a previous project, I just happened to photograph the before picture when I was testing the fit of the dolly. I wanted an easy way to move this for cleaning around it.
For $10 and a little elbow grease, I have a new place to keep my printer, computer stuff and get my kitchen table back!

So glad to hear you’re back to normal living! Love your new cabinet… you did a great job on that!
Also love your “crafternoon” idea… I am so using that!
Take care! ๐
