August has been a good month!

Some highlights include being mentioned on Lifehacker and Canoe, which has brought more followers on Twitter and fans on Facebook – hello!

I might have gone over board in my celebration of back to school, but I want to make sure parents have plenty of lunch packing ideas and inspiration for the school-age crowd.

I tossed out some recipes for fruit dippers, chicken salad and packing a whole meal in a mason jar.

Coming up, I hope to share some thoughts on cookbook I found at the library and free apps I’ve downloaded to my phone.
