One of my favorite things about listening to the Bob and Sheri radio show via podcast is that you never know what artist they will book to sing on their show. Not too long ago they had Five for Fighting, which is John Ondrasik (he records under the aforementioned band name, which took me a couple years to figure out) on their show performing from his new album, Slice.
My cousin will tell you that Superman is one of the best songs ever. It may have a little to do with him being a firefighter and that song becoming a song to heal the nation after 9/11.
One2OneNetwork provided me with a download of Slice and while I will admit I am not a fan like my cousin, I have enjoyed listening to this album. There’s something pleasant about the melodies and the songs tell the stories of those in Ondrasik’s life. It is is another album that can be enjoyed by the whole family.
