My friend, Laura, is an art teacher at a school in Cincinnati and her student is one of the finalist in Google 4 Doodle! Thursday morning Laura will be on Warm98 at 6:10am to promote her student and this opportunity! To see her student’s piece (and vote), look for grades 7-9, region 5.
There is another student from our area, Emerald Lu of Covington Latin who is in grades 10-12, Region 7.
Prizes:
The National Winner will win a $15,000 college scholarship to be used at the school of their choice, a trip to the Google New York Office, a laptop computer, and a t-shirt printed with their doodle. We’ll also award the winner’s school a $25,000 technology grant towards the establishment/improvement of a computer lab.
Laura is a great artist and awesome teacher! I am very proud to have photos of painted Dr. Scholls and flower pots, but I am even more proud to see her and her student do well!
