I was inspired by a card from Impress Rubber Stamps to use the Martha Stewart whale punch I bought because it reminded me of my childhood and those purses and sweaters people wore.
I used glue pad to stamp glue on the paper, then glitter in blue for the waves. Then, I glued the whale and heart punch. I wrote a ‘whale’ of a special message inside!
My mom said my valentine cards were well received by the nursing home staff who thought they were for sale at their little shop. The staffer who passes out mail rattled off a list of people who do not receive much mail or visitors so I hope to make more general ‘have a good day’ and ‘thinking of you’ cards for the staff to distribute.
