Cake Pans for Loan? @ Your Library!

by Andi on July 21, 2008

Yesterday, I posted about people not realizing all the great materials you can get from libraries and then I learned a library in northeastern Ohio loans cake pans! Skip over to Pop Goes the Library to read her interview with the children’s librarian about this creative collection at the Reed Memorial Library in Ravenna, Ohio.

By the way, the photo of my sister-in-law’s Dora the Explorer cake is my all-time most viewed photo on Flickr!

Ooh, haven’t heard of cake pans, but the library in Ann Arbor, MI loans out artwork, so you can seasonally spruce up your walls. I believe you do pay a small fee to rent the art, but it’s a library program I haven’t seen since.
