Make It: circle journal scrapbook

Last weekend I attended my first scrap mania at a scrapbook store with my sister and her friends. I’m not much of a traditional scrapper, but it was fun! I bought an album and page protectors on clearance and some clear stamps that are happy hour themed!

As for this photo, I came up with the idea of a circle journal scrapbook for my high school friends. Although, it will not be a true circle journal because there are six of us and we are lucky if we get together monthly so this would take six months or more to complete and I am too anxious for that!

I am the self-appointed historian of our group because I am always taking photos, but I thought it would be fun if we all contributed to an album about our group. I divided a blank book in sections for each person and I started by posting photos and journaling about each friend. The next step is to have everyone else take some scrapbook sheets and complete at least one page about each other person (anything they want say - current or past memories) and give it back to me to put into that person’s section. Then we can all gather around the journal and enjoy it as a group!

I just hope I can get all of them on board with the idea of doing something like this because I know a few of them will claim they are not creative. But it isn’t creativity I am after, it is the memories!
