Irish Dancing is still expensive

This past weekend, I spent my days at the Dayton and Cincinnati feiseanna. Last year, I wrote about the cost of Irish dancing and it is still expensive!

I could write about the crazed kids and stage parents, but it is just so odd to me to see people in tears because they didn't dance well enough to prove to their friends that they are good dancers. But they are going to go out and spend money on more lessons, dance camps, dresses and supplies to help achieve that status. Keeping up with the O'Jones, I guess!
