Taxes = Dunzo!

As a graduate student and part-time employee in 2006, I ended up qualifying for the Earned Income Credit (history-making: that is the most personal bit of information I have ever shared about my finances on this blog) and I anticipate it will be the only year!

Moving onto exciting stuff, while I wait for my return I will begin shredding old financial records! Last year I broke my shredder in the post-tax season shred-a-thon because I had a pile-up of old documents and customer records from my online business and overloaded my poor shredder.

This year, I should have minimal shredding of personal records and no business records (it is unlikely I will bring that back online, but that's another story for another day) so my shredder should be on easy street!
