Back from Austin, TX...

and it was F-U-N! Most places I visit I enjoy, but not so much that I would consider going back, but Austin I would.

Plus, it was a relatively cheap trip for me: I exchanged a gift card from my credit card rewards for a flight through my dad's frequent flier miles (had to pay $5), booked a round-trip on SuperShuttle for ground transport from the airport to the hotel and seven of us split two rooms at the Hampton Inn so we had lovely breakfasts.

The only costs were meals and bevos since we walked to all destinations, including the Lyndon B. Johnson Library Museum, which we were told was the only free Presidential museum. I'm going to tuck that fact away for bar trivia in the hopes it secures victory (probably won't since we've never taken first place, but I keep hoping)!
