Two for Tuesday: Craft Related

Over at craftgrrl, I saw a picture-heavy post for a baby felt book and a Mr. T-styled Sock Monkey that are not only awesomely creative in concept, but well crafted!

Sorry for the short post so late in the day, but I've got a terrible migraine. If you have any non-prescription advice for treating them, please let me know.

Sorry to hear you are not feeling well. My only suggestion is hopefully what you are already doing - lie down in a cool, dark, quiet room and try to sleep.

Place a cold washcloth or ice pack on your head. The coldness makes the blood vessles shrink, which are causing the pain.

And take some Excedrin for migranes!

I have problems with migranes too. I'm guaranteed at least one a week. Try to feel better!

My doctor told me that any kind of headache can turn into a migraine, so I stopped putting off treating a minor headache. Whether it's sinus or just tension, I treat it before it turns into a migraine. Also, check your diet. I realized after several years that diet drinks were giving me headaches. I stopped drinking them, and haven't had a migraine since.

Hey girl! I get terrible migranes & i quickly drink coffee or a can of pop(which I never drink unless i feel one coming on) but a huge caffeninne rush really helps, as it opens up your blood vessels instead of constricting them! Thats what I read in one of my natural healing books & it works!!
