WFMW: Duplicate Favorite Jeans

by Andi on July 12, 2006

in shopping, tips

When it comes to certain articles of clothing, if I find an item that meets my criteria (quality vs price vs anticipated wear), I buy two. I’m sure the people who see me think I wear the same jeans repeatedly, but it is because I have identical pairs and never face the my-favorite-jeans-are-dirty dilemmia.

I do the same thing – especially with jeans, since I’m such a jeans-girl!

Hey Andi,
I feel like a negative of you. I live in Dayton and work at UC. (Ok, I’m a UC grad but Dh is a UD grad). Cool Blog!
Love your post on Cincy foods. Now how about Marions,Milanos and Frickers?:) – Of course the new upscale Milano’s just ins’t the same…

Great idea. I love American Eagle jeans.

This is a great idea, and one I will use since it’s time for me to stock up on clothes again. I hate it when I only buy one pair of jeans or one skirt at a time, then love it so much and later they don’t have any more! Awesome and practical tip.

I’m definitely the same way! I was once asked if I only had one pair of jeans, since I had about 5 or 6 pairs of my favorite and wore them all the time.

You can’t beat a great fitting item of clothing, no matter what it is! =)

Most of my clothes are identical. Got five pairs of the same pants in different colors, and probably ten shirts that are the same except for the color. Means that I can just keep an eye out for that style and buy more when it is on sale, and know I already like it.

Yep, I do this too, especially with good-fitting t-shirts. With 3 kids, I go through white ones pretty quickly.

I do this with undies. If I actually find nice cotton undies that don’t ride up (and don’t have waistbands up to my armpits) I immediately go back and buy another package or two.

I should do this with shoes, too, since I have strange feet and it’s rare for me to find shoes that fit well.
