Boston Gal’s rain barrel post reminded me to check the Kentucky PRIDE web site for their artistic rain barrel contest. The rain barrels are auctioned off to benefit PRIDE, which stands for Personal Responsibility in a Desirable Environment. So far, there have only been 33 votes

Interesting little contest… I’ll go check it out. I have a friend who collects rain water to water her garden and chickens (35 of them). I don’t think she decorates hers though.
How cool! Just cruisin’ through your blog and saw that you had a link to the PRIDE rain barrel site. I did one of these myself, the one called “Patchwork Quilt.” The pictures didn’t come out so well, but read the description for more info.
