Vacuum Food Storage

I eat salad every day because if I don't, it wilts and is gross within days of purchase. My schedule is such that I cannot go every couple of days and buy fresh fruit and vegetables.

One day watching a HGTV show (Mission Organization, I think) the homeowners were told to use vacuum food storage containers to keep their fruit and vegetables from spoiling so quickly. After that, I was looking for these containers and only saw the FreshVac Plus from Target. If it weren't for having a gift card, I might have said $25 for three containers was a bit much. On the otherhand, if it preserves the food a little longer as stated on this chart than it should be worth the investment in the long run. (Warning: the moldy strawberries photo is gross!)
