Valentine Cards 2006
It is the return of Target Dollar Spot scrapbook paper and Dollar Spot ribbon. I picked up the bumble bee stamp for $1 at Michaels and the Happy Valentine’s Day and letters are from Stampin’ Up!
Valentine Cards 2005
Last year with the help of my friends and coworkers, I was able to drop off a handful of cards to a local nursing home. Good times!
I have a secret email admirer! I keep getting this messages from sender (unknown), which say “hello beauty.”
What, you think it is spam mail?! pfft!

What a great idea to drop off Valentine’s at a nursing home. I’m embarassed to say I never thought of doing that myself. I just wanted to let you know that you’ve put an idea in my head and tugged at my heart. I have something else to add to my “Want To Do List”!
aw don’t be embarrassed, we all help out where and when we can!
I’m not sure where you live, but in the midwest the 3rd Saturday of October is called Sweetest Day. In 1922, a Cleveland, Ohio candy worker and philanthropist wanted to let orphans and shut-ins know they weren’t forgotten so he distributed gifts and candy to them.
I like to embrace his idea and remind others that Sweetest Day isn’t a romantic holiday even though the florist and cardmakers try to capitalize on it!
